The term cooling in computer refers to the removal of excess heat , which is generally created when the computer is working or in running mode . Heat can be generated in computer from various hardware devices that can include Harddisk , video card , processor ( CPU ) , etc . The importance of cooling in computer is to maintain an optimum temperature for the normal working of computer .
This can be done by doing various things to computer e.g. introduction fo heat sink and fans in the computer . There are other alternatives which includes liquid cooling , software cooling etc .
