Bluetooth is a wireless device . Bluetooth is used in small area to communicate with other device . For communication bluetooth uses low frequency radio web . The range of bluetooth is nearly 30 feet .
Data and voice can be transmitted via bluetooth . Bluetooth uses packet switching technique to transmit data . When more devices are conencted in a network then one device is master or primary device and all the other device in a network is called as seconday or Slave device .
The network which is made by connecting bluetooth devices are called as PICONET . If the slave device of piconet is a master device of other network then this is called as SCATTERNET .
Advantage Of Bluetooth :-
- Bluetooth is cheap and uses less power .
- Bluetooth is a wireless device .
- Bluetooth provide security in data transmission .
Disadvantage Of Bluetooth :-
- Bluetooth can communicate in very short distance .
- Transfer rate of bluetooth is very low .
